Between work, family obligations and general laziness, it can be hard to find the time to workout or eat right. #1 Exercise on your lunch break If you don't have time to exercise after work, try fitting it into your schedule during your lunch break. Take a 30-minute walk every day during the week - either before or after lunch. Try going for longer walks on the weekends as this will help to give you some much-needed rest time and prevent burnout!

#2 Make it a priority to eat breakfast Starting your day off with a healthy meal will really help to keep you on track throughout the day. Aim to eat something within an hour of waking up and include plenty of whole grains, fruit, vegetables, lean protein and healthy fats. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it will give you energy to get you through the morning and help to keep you feeling full until lunchtime. If you skip breakfast or don't eat healthy, you run the risk of crashing mid-morning and feeling drained for the rest of the day. #3 Pack healthy snacks to take to work Eating properly is important, but so is snacking healthily throughout the day. Many of us tend to reach for high-calorie convenience snacks like biscuits and crisps when they're feeling hungry during the day, but these can leave us feeling tired and sluggish when we return to work in the evening. Try packing some nuts and fresh fruit into your desk drawer instead so you always have a healthy snack at hand. This will help to control your hunger and prevent you from overeating when you get home at night.

#4 Eat the rainbow As we alluded earlier, it's important to stick to a varied diet in order to stay healthy. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains will provide you with a wide range of important nutrients that your body needs to stay healthy. It will also help you to avoid common nutrient deficiencies which can be extremely dangerous for your health.
